Captain’s Log: Day Eleven
 
My dearest Luna,
 
Today I confirmed that there is intelligent life out here. Intelligent and very handsome.
 
Obviously, we did not have a common language, but I was able to communicate with nods, pointing and sounds. I communicated mostly with a being called M’awr. He showed me his planet and offered me a meal. Without language, though, we were both quick to lose interest and I continued on my journey.
 
Perhaps, after you’ve finished with your current research, you would be willing to work on some sort of translation device.
