“But Thom,” Luna says, watching as he packs his bag. “Why do you have to take The Curiosity and go by yourself? We could take a bigger ship – I could continue my research onboard.”
 
“Luna, my love,” Thom says and comes over to look deep into her eyes. “You are obviously very capable and would improve this trip. But this has been a dream for my entire lifetime.”
 
“Must you go alone?”
