Captain’s Log: Day Six
 
My Dearest Luna,
 
Today I raced a comet!
 
It was only for a short distance because it was headed toward the Sun and I am headed out, but I couldn’t resist. The comet was just getting close enough to the Sun’s warmth to start shedding gas and dust. The tail it created was already remarkable. For a space snowball, the comet sure was fast.
 
I quickly lost the race and returned to my original course.
